Growth, inflation and policy scenarios without invented probabilities

Separate measurement, mechanism, policy response and market pricing in a macro feature.

The macro chain has several independent links

An observation concerns a defined series. A mechanism interprets it in context. A policy scenario describes a possible response, and a market scenario adds pricing and participant expectations. None of these links follows automatically from a single release. Write the assumptions at each transition, including what evidence could contradict them. A lower growth rate need not mean a lower level, and slower inflation is not a general price decline. The source desk does not supply a current policy forecast or an observed trading result for these teaching scenarios.

Avoid giving invented weights to appealing narratives

A three-scenario table can be useful without claiming probabilities sum to a calibrated forecast. If actual probabilities are supplied, identify their issuer, method and information cutoff. Do not choose precise weights because the table looks professional. Retain unassigned probability fields when no source exists. A scenario's completeness concerns documentation, not measured likelihood. The new dossiers contain actual data and financial outcomes as null; their numeric bridge illustrates compatible levels, not the probability a central bank acts or a particular asset rises.

Policy and pricing can point in different directions

A widely anticipated policy move can coexist with a different market response because the price may reflect earlier expectations, implementation details or another simultaneous event. Distinguish the identified fact from a causal explanation selected after the chart. A current forecast edition is not an earlier expectation record. A stronger event argument needs actual source timing, benchmark and alternative explanations. A release-method source cannot provide them automatically. The magazine performs no policy-event study or estimate of causal asset sensitivity in this expansion.

A scenario becomes a trade only with another contract

An executable idea needs instrument identity, venue, information clock, entry and exit ownership, size and costs. Preserve the authorized native method in actual research rather than let an editorial interpretation redefine it. A risk narrative cannot certify current production delivery or an independent financial master. A careful magazine feature can still make a bounded case and publish its missing next artifact. More confident prose, decimal precision or repeated related-site references cannot replace actual observations, lawful rights and independently evaluated account outcomes.

Authored editorial case

Authored case: an upward historical revision and small new-period gain support several possible economic interpretations, but no actual policy expectation is supplied. The feature records mechanism assumptions and leaves scenario probabilities null. The bridge result is not labelled a buy signal. A real publication would need a named forecast source, information cutoff and evidence for the price-response transition before strengthen the headline into a policy or trading conclusion.
